Welcome To Weardale Holiday Cottages

We have six well equipped self catering cottages in picturesque Weardale, County Durham, England. The location is ideal for exploring County Durham and the North of England, we are just 18 miles from Durham City.

Individually the cottages can sleep a range of party sizes from just 1 person to 14 people and we can also accommodate group bookings of up to 46 people. Making our cottages perfect for couples, family gatherings, friends catching up, golfing parties, cycling groups, walking groups and much more!

The cottages are available all year round and can be booked for short breaks, weeks and longer stays if required.

Beautiful Holiday Cottages In Weardale

  • "Such a lovely house equipped with everything you could need"

    We explored the local towns, Durham, Newcastle, Auckland Castle, Raby Castle, Hamsterley Forest and played Golf at Brancepeth Castle. All of which were fab days out and fell in love with the scenery and local life. Valerie was a brilliant host and this house was fantastic.

    We enjoyed the garden and BBQ and the boys especially enjoyed the pool table. We spent a day at South Shields, did a lovely bike ride through Hamsterley Forest and a spent a day at Alnwick Castle. We even had fun when it rained!
